Perot Systems was an information technology services provider founded in 1988 by a group of investors led by Ross Perot and based in Plano, Texas, United States. A Fortune 1000 corporation with offices in more than 25 countries, Perot Systems employed more than 23,000 people and had an annual revenue of $2.8 billion before its acquisition in 2009 by Dell, Inc. Perot Systems Corporation , a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions, today announced that it has been recognized as one of the “Best Workplaces in India for 2008” by the Great Place to Work Institute, India, in partnership with The Economic Times.Perot Systems’ ranking resulted from the 2008 Study of “Best Workplaces in India” in which more than 200 companies participated in a comprehensive two part process that consisted of an evaluation of each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, and a random survey to capture what employees of the company feel about the workplace.
